MATA is a site-specific immersive installation commissioned for Virada Cultural in São Paulo. Displayed for 24 hours on a large LED screen in a public square, the piece showed a real-time forest continuously on fire, with lighting that reacted to the ambient light of the site. The work delivered a strong environmental message through scale, duration and the impact of witnessing fire in a public space.

As Creative Director at Midiadub, I created and composed the burning forest in Unity and collaborated closely with the development team. My role included defining the visual direction, shaping the overall experience and ensuring that the installation delivered a powerful and memorable presence in the space.
